Hi Jake,

Does Hubspot capture ad UTMs if using a third party API connector such as Zapier or Integromat? If we connect all our forms through Integromat, especially the one using iframes, will the ad data be captured by Hubspot? or to capture that data, does Hubspot need to do it by itself using Non‑HubSpot Form?

If you want the most comprehensive capture of UTM data, I recommend using the web analytics api. This will give you access to every URL visited by a contact, including UTM parameters.

If you only care about capturing UTM data when a visitor submits a HubSpot form, then you can capture that in a custom form field using javascript. In my personal opinion, this is the best, simplest way to start attributing form submissions to UTM sources.

To get the most value out of HubSpot, use the HubSpot embedded forms, use javascript to autofill any important hidden fields (like UTM). This will give you the most tracking data in HubSpot, and flexible management via HubSpot's forms tool.

I hope this helps!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Hubspot and loving it so far. We decided to use Hubspot to get better understanding of paid marketing efforts. We have many forms on our website, some html and other using iframes. The most important thing for us when capturing form data if for us to see which source (Google Ads or FB) and campaign they come from. This seems to work fine with the HTML forms using the Hubspot tracking code.

However, my question is: Does Hubspot capture ad UTMs if using a third party API connector such as Zapier or Integromat? If we connect all our forms through Integromat, especially the one using iframes, will the ad data be captured by Hubspot?

or to capture that data, does Hubspot need to do it by itself using Non‑HubSpot Form?

What would be the best way to capture all that data in a clean way and avoid duplicate data?

Thanks for your help
