I have a form where several rows contain multiple columns.
When the form is displayed with either shortcodes or the WordPress Add-on, fields randomly disappear.
The missing field is missing completely, not hidden or in the wrong place. Looking at the source, there is no mention of the missing field.
In the design view, they are there. In the HubSpot previewer, they are not there.
None is hidden. What am I doing wrong?

Are you using native HubSpot forms?

If so, it sounds like an issue with progressive fields and pre-population for known visitors.

See below for the KB article. Based on this, the field wouldn't be in the page source as it doesn't render for you/visitor.

I'd take the form's URL and check it in incognito mode. If the fields appear, then it's most likely the progressive field issue. If not, it could be an embedded form issue (with the embed itself) or a cache issue.

https://knowledge.hubspot.com/forms/troubleshoot-hubspot-forms

If some fields are still not being displayed on your form when you add it to a page, it's likely that the form has progressive fields and HubSpot remembers the visitor from previous interactions or testing. Progressive fields are hidden if the visitor has previously filled in the field or if the contact already has a value for the property.

When I use the shared link for the form in an incognito browser window, all
the fields appear.

But I am confused about these progressive fields. I created this form
using the new editor, not the legacy one, and from what I read,
progressive options are not available in the new editor.

Using the new editor, I simply dragged fields onto the form. So I would
expect them to be always-on fields.

I apologise if I am being dumb, but I am a complete noob with HubSpot and
learning as I go.

No worries at all, it's part of the process.

With the new forms, HubSpot may still not display the property if it already has a value for you (cookie + contact) and that Contact record already has a value for that property.

Since you're seeing all the fields on an incognito window, that's a clue.

Can you go to your Contact record in your CRM and check whether there is a value for the property you're not seeing (e.g., Job Title)?
