I have a Deal Property that is a multicheck of all our services under each compnay division. I'd like to include this in a Request Services Form, but it seems I am limited to Contact, Company, and Ticket properties. Is there a step I am missing?

You can’t add Deal properties directly to a HubSpot form. HubSpot forms only allow Contact, Company, and Ticket properties.

The simplest way around this is to create a matching Contact property for your services checklist and add that to your form. Then set up a workflow that does two things when someone submits the form:

1. Creates a deal (if there isn’t one already).

2. Copies the value from the Contact property into your Deal property.

This way, the visitor can select the services on the form, and you still get that data stored on the Deal where you need it. It keeps everything native in HubSpot and doesn’t require custom code or third-party tools.

Best,

Francois

www.smitmarketing.co.uk

Instead, I suggest creating a contact property, and upon form submission, you can run the workflow, which can automatically update the Deal property for you.

hi @EHaggerty
You can’t add Deal properties directly to forms — only Contact, Company, and Ticket properties are supported. A good workaround is to create a matching Contact property for your checklist, put that on the form, and then use a workflow to create a Deal (if needed) and copy the value into the Deal property. When setting this up, it helps to give the Contact and Deal properties matching names so the workflow is easier to build and maintain, especially if you’re handling multiple services.

Hi @EHaggerty ,

You’re not missing a step — HubSpot forms only support Contact, Company, and Ticket properties. Deal properties aren’t available to place directly on forms.

If you want to capture that information through a form, the usual workaround is:

Create a matching Contact property for your “Services” multi-check field.

Add that Contact property to your form.

Use a workflow to copy the submitted values from the Contact property over to the Deal property once a deal is created or updated.

That way, you can still collect the data via the form, but make sure it syncs to your deals automatically.

Hope this help!

<LI-WRAPPER> </LI-WRAPPER>
