I can't Find Easy Access to Leads created by my forms

Can anyone tell me where new leads from hubspot forms are hiding? Other than going to Forms tab and then submissions and then another link or two to find them,, why is it so hard to locate new form leads, and where are they?

Hi @SGrathwohl,

It sounds like you're referring to contacts (which are different from the HubSpot lead object). You can find all contacts under Menu > CRM > Contacts. Unless you've changed anything here, you should land in a tab "All contacts". https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/view-and-filter-records

On this page, you can click "Advanced filters" in the middle of the screen, then filter for "Form submission" and select your form. HubSpot will return all contacts that ever submitted that form.

@SGrathwohl a lot of users also like creating an active contact list to keep a running tab of all form submitters > how-to guide. Select the "Form Submissions" option and then pick the form you want to create the list for!

Hi @SGrathwohl ,
There are different ways you can find your leads. First of all, in Hubspot they're called contacts, and contacts have a Lifecycle Stage field that can be set as Lead among other values.
If you go to Contacts you'll land in a view with all the contacts in your Hubspot account, you can use advanced filters where you can use the "Form Submission" options to select what you need. You can also use many other useful filters like Created Date, Source, etc. You can also add/remove columns to show the relevant information.
I'd suggest to clone the view on the top-right of the table and then save your edits. This way you'll have your view saved for whenever you need it.
You can also create an active list with your contacts using the same filters in CRM > Lists.

Go to Forms > next to the form you are looking at click Actions > View Submissions. Hope this helps.

Hi @SGrathwohl,

There are some great tips already posted here for where to locate them within the system. Something I've found to be especially helpful when collecting leads from events/conferences is to build the list into the workflow of my form for that specific conference! Have your leads fill the form out (serves as the trigger in the workflow) and then add them to a static list you've created for that event/conferences as step 2. It becomes a great reference point for people in specific areas (location or interest) and makes it easy to build outreach from. Just something to consider as well.

Hello @SGrathwohl , assuming you are looking for contacts, you can also do this without Active/Static lists or going to the submission page.

From the Contact page, you can create a filter with the form from where you want to see submission; you can filter further with contact owner. This helps for a quick view of submissions.

Well, the next step is easy, just clone and save the view as you always do 🙂 I hope this helps.
