Chat Widget Loading Too Slowly — Affects Ad Performance

The chat widget on my site is taking over 15 seconds to load, while the page itself loads in under 200ms. This significant delay is negatively impacting the performance of our paid ad campaigns.

Thank you for taking your time to review our website and the issue raised in the community post.

I have checked the page speed insights link that is added in your reply and the total blocking time for mobile is 820 ms, this doesn't justify the 15s that the chat widget is taking.

Here's a bit of context, we are using Wp Rocket on our website which helps with the optimization. We did try to put the chat embed widget on the body - it didn't work. We are not using the Hubspot plugin for WordPress.

In both the situation, the chat widget gets rendered only after 15s. I'm not able to find a reason to justify this.

Looks like the issue is with the HubSpot chatflow configuration dashboard UI. Hubspot has this Chat Display Dehaviour accordion and it has two tabs inside - Desktop and Mobile.

When in the desktop tab, it shows the Time delay option, but the same is hidden on mobile.

So my understanding was that this time delay setting is applicable only to the desktop view and not the mobile view, which is wrong. This setting applies to both. I hope some HubSpot designer sees this and corrects this UI issue.
