Deny form submissions from contacts without making use of the email domains to block

Hi everyone,

We have multiple contacts that keep submitting brochure requests but we are not able to reach. This is ruining the metrics for the KPIs of our call center. There are instances where people have submitted 10+ brochures but we had to write the leads off.

As these contacts make use of email domains that are common (@outlook, @gmail etc.), we don't want them to place on the email domains to block list.

Is there another way to no longer collect submissions from these contacts?

Hi @Maxwolters

Unfortunately at this moment in time you can only block form submission by email domain, and not individual emails.

You could however create a workflow that when a form is subitted by those email addresses to create a task for a member of your team to go and delete their submission from the form. At least there will be a way to catch the submissions and have a reminder to delete so your KPIs can still be accurate.

Are you using HubSpot's CMS?

If so, it might be possible to have smart content on your landing/web page to stop a form from showing to these contacts if you use a smart rule using a contact list to show different content to prevent them from seeing the form, or showing a different form.

My recommendation would probably be a combination of both mine (although this is only possible if you're using HubSpot CMS), and @matthew-aire's suggestion. This would cover those that slipped through the net as well. 🙂
