The Hubspot for Wordpress plugin does nothing more than embed the tracking code on your site and give you an iframe on the admin panel to see hubspot without having to open a second browser tab.

So if you are getting partial or multiple submissions due to the non-hubspot forms feature, installing the plugin will have no impact. You could try this third-party plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/cf7-hubspot/ . That's about your only option outside of considering custom development to repost your form data to Hubspot directly.

I am supporting a client who currently uses Contact Form 7 for lead capture on their Wordpress site.

We have their HubSpot tracking code installed which allows form submissions to be tracked in HubSpot CRM. And as stated in this documentation, non-HubSpot forms collect submissions "whenever a visitor clicks the submit button. If there is validation on the external form, this can lead to multiple partial submissions."

If we install the Wordpress HubSpot plugin and continue to use Contact Form 7, will it solve for the "multiple partial submissions" challenge? Or will that behavior persist even with the plugin installed?

I'm assuming that if we install the plugin and use the plugin to embed HubSpot forms in Wordpress, the partial submission challenge will be resolved?

My client has some complex form behaviors designed on their Wordpress site and so they want to preserve the use of Contact Form 7 if possible, but we need to find a way to resolve the "multiple partial submissions" challenge.

Any insight or recommended best practices would be much appreciated.

I would be really interested to know more about this solution.

I installed it, but It seems that it doesn't manage multi pages form, so that I can't gather all the datas filled by the visitor to create and populate the contact fields in Hubspot...

Unfortunately if that plugin is not working you could try to contact the vendor of that plugin. You may need to investigate other form solutions to solve for the issue as there are other form integrations which can post directly to Hubspot.
