Background of the form

Hi,

could anyone suggest what to do when I want to make the background of the form a bit "transparent"? And how to make it with rounded corners?

I know how to change the background colour but I didn't figure out how to make it a bit transparent to still see the picture through the form, and still ensure good visibility of the text.

Hey @MKucerova is this on a HubSpot page or on an external page? Either way you'll need to set this on your stylesheet through custom CSS. The only difference is if it's embedded on an external page you'll need to ensure "set as raw html form" is enabled if it is not already. Once done you can set the transparency on the background using something like this and you can set rounded corners using the css border-radius property.

it is a HubSpot page (made with drag-and-drop functions without CSS coding), not an external page. Could you be more specific with the procedure steps since I have never done it before?

Hi @MKucerova

As TomM2 mentioned you can achieve this through CSS. You will find a setting option on top in your content editor. In settings there will be advance tab in which you can give your custom styles in the head. You need to use rgba format for the background color to give it little bit of transparency. Hey @MKucerova, sorry about the other commenter's unhelpful, generic information.

You'll need to update your stylesheet. Basically this is the styling of your website, where and what this is is really down to your current website setup so it's impossible to tell without seeing your page unfortunately! However, there's a great guide from HubSpot on updating your stylesheets available on the Knowledgebase here.

You will need a bit of css experience for this.

Hi @MKucerova

If you're working with a form on Hubspot pages and want to change its style, go to the Page settings and find the advanced tab. There, you can adjust the background color's opacity and add a border radius to the form. It's best to put your custom CSS in the footer section to prevent any conflicts. For forms used on external pages, remember to turn on the 'raw HTML' option.
