Auto populate form with Company Information

When a deal gets to a certain stage, our internal departments need to start gathering information to open an account. Some is known right away and some needs to be reaserched. I have seen all kinds of posting on how to auto populate a form for contacts. But can't find info on how to do this for a company record. Does anyone have info on this? Thanks.

Can you share where you'd want to autopopulate this information from? If it's already known, why would it have to be included in the form submission?

Absolutely, it's the account setup information we need to set up a B2B account. There are about 50 pieces of information that are necessary. Some will get stored in Hubspot and some will just be sent on to the Account setup department. And some need to be updated in Hubspot after setup. The salesperson begins the process when a deal is won in Hubspot. Now, we are developing the next steps of communication.

I still don't fully understand where the information would be coming from that you're planning to use as a source for auto-populating.

If it's known, it's already there. If it isn't, someone would add / edit the company record accordingly, wouldn't they?

(Generally I'd strongly recommend not to work with forms but adjust the left sidebar of the company record and work there.)
