Repurposing content across platforms like your website and LinkedIn is a smart move for reach, but duplicate content can pose SEO risks if not managed carefully. While Google does crawl LinkedIn to some extent, it's best to use canonical tags or slightly modify the content for each platform. Think of it like using software DuplicateFilesDeleter—it’s about cleaning up redundancy to keep your digital ecosystem optimized and efficient.

We publish a monthly wrap-up blog on our website at the end of each month, which provides a comprehensive look back. We also repurpose this exact blog as a LinkedIn newsletter.

However, I'm aware that Google crawls both LinkedIn (I think it is crawling, right?) and our website. I am concerned that having the same content on both platforms could lead to duplicate content issues. Could this affect our SEO performance? Do you have any recommendations on how to handle this?

Ideally, I don’t have time to significantly change the newsletter's content, but if this is potentially harming our SEO, I want to make adjustments.

Hey @EnesCinar this is typlically fine and won't hurt your SEO. Want you want to do is make sure all your canonical urls are correct to minimise the risk. There's a great article on this available on linkedin here.

HubSpot also has a tool specifically to repurpose content too, content remix.
