My team is putting together a service to do audits on potential clients websites and I have been looking all over the place for what site auditing software would be best for breaking down a clients site. By breaking down I mean analyzing their position in SEO, error messages on the site, CSS errors etc. I have seen everything from SEMrush, Marketingrader and more and can't seem to come to a clear conclusion about what would be best to give an audit. Do any of you have a site auditor for clients that you prefer to use? Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

The best thing to do in a site audit is to use multiple tools and integrate them into a single report. I use Screaming Frog SEO spider, SEMrush, Ahref, search console, and Google Analytics into a single report.
Use everything to explore and write out every error. Also, make sections in the report example: Developers End, Writer's End, SEO end.
This way it would be easy to make changes. All the links should be clickable.

I agree with Anne. We've been doing website audits for over 5 years and it has evolved using mulitple tools into a single report. Recommendations become the basis for proposal options.

We use Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads Keyword Tool, Google PageSpeed Insights, Moz, Screaming Frog, SpyFu, and BuiltWith.

+1 on ScreamingFrog and Search Console.

I'm still surprised by the number of marketers who don't look into the Google Search Console data.
