Editing a property within a list

For some reason the edit function within an active list has stopped working for me. For context, I have sent out a party invitation where people click on the form link, then tick yes or no in the RSVP box. Last week I was able to go into each of the 3 active lists ('yes', 'no' and 'not responded'), click on the white box on the left hand side next to the contacts name, click edit in the top bar, and then change the relevant property to either yes or no. The contact would then move into the relevant list. It's now just stopped working. I've tried several times within each list and have even tried creating new lists, but to no avail. Does anyone know what is going wrong? Thank you

I then click on the left you edit the property

But it's just staying in the same "non-responses" list, even though I changed it to 'yes'

Hi @EMathars,

Your list doesn't seem to include the "Can you join us" property, I'm only seeing "Events Negroni". If you're updating a property that's not referenced in the list, that would explain why the list isn't updating.

Thanks, Karsten, but I definitely did this a couple of weeks ago - it's how I was making lots of updates.

I can't add the "can you join us" property to the non-responses as they won't have completed it as they haven't responded. I also just tried to do a test on the list where people have completed the "can you join us" property with either yes or no, and it's still not updating. It's very bizarre

Hi @EMathars,

If your list is filtering for property A, updating property B might accidentally trigger something in the background that updates property A or is correlated to it.

But changing property B will not update the list directly.

You'll have to update your list criteria or update the properties referenced by the list.

This is the equivalent of an Excel file that you're filtering. If you're applying a filter in column A, updating a cell value in column B won't affect your filtered results.
