Unable to Partition Lists by Teams

I have recently adapted our Hubspot environment to support multiple brands under a single Enterprise. For each brand, we have a single team. All of our non-administrator users are assigned to a single team and are assigned a permission set with "Team only" access rights to Contacts. This works great and our users cannot see contacts not owned by their teams.

Lists of contacts are created by each team...we have several hundred in total The lists that they create only contain their contacts. What I'd like to do is limit visibility to their Lists to only the ones their team owns. It is cumbersome for a user to see dozens of lists (including list size, creator, etc) in the Lists view. Unlike other records or content (i.e. emails, campaigns, workflows, etc.) I can't find anyway to assign a list to a team or to secure the lists so they can only be viewed by a single team. Am I missing something?

Hi @KYoung8,

When you select a list in the list tool, you should see this "Assign teams" option after selecting at least one list, does that not appear for you?

By the way, another way to keep things clean and streamlined for teams are filtered views (see the tabs in my screenshot). If you want certain teams to only see certain lists (e.g. filtered by name, because your naming convention makes it so that lists contain the team name, for example), you could click on "Advances filters", create a tab that filters by name and save the view (click "Save view" to the right).

Each saved view has its own URL and you can share it easily internally. Once people drag and drop the tab of this new view to the very left (left of "All lists"), it should become their default.

Thanks for your response Karsten. Unfortunately, "Assign Teams" doesn't show up for me in the Lists view as it does on pretty much everything other view I have.

Knowing that it shows up for you on Lists gives me my answer! I'm going to reach out to support directly now that I know it is an active feature that I'm just not seeing.
