Hello @sahilsethi576,

For this you would lists: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/create-active-or-static-lists

You can either build lists manually (by choosing contacts who should go in a certain bucket), this could be done with a static list. Or you use filters (available in both static and active lists) to filter all contacts in your CRM by certain criteria. Keep in mind that you can only filter for contact property values that are available. Ideally, the characteristics that you want to filter for are included in your import file.

There is a great knowledge base article on list criteria here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/determine-your-list-criteria

Hope this helps!

Hello @sahilsethi576,

Hubspot allows you to create lists (segments) based on contact properties. These properties are generally based on

Data you have gathered from the lead by having them fill a field

Actions they have taken such as filled a form to attend a webinar

These segments are great but can be limited. To create industry based or company-turnover based segments you need external data about a contact, and you can get this by integrating Hubspot with a webapp called Vainu. Once connected, Vainu will populate each contact with many useful properties like company, country, industry, company size, revenue, tech tools used by the company, vehicles owned by the company and more.

Now you can make segments of contacts from say, Netherlands and send them emails in Dutch. or a segment of companies using your competitor's tech solution and target them. You can also layer a few contact properties to make a niche segment. Your segments will constantly be updated as Vainu continually refreshes its data. And the contacts in them will continually be wooed with highly relevant workflows.

Hope this helps!
