Workflow with Timestamps

So I want to create a workflow that will count the following
1. Output information including timestamp of when a user was made as a company owner
2. Output information including the timestamp of when the assigned user made their first outbound email.

Is the logic above possible?

Hi @Miguvill,

HubSpot has a default property for this:

Owner assigned date: the timestamp for when a record owner was assigned to the company. This is set automatically by HubSpot.

Would that work?

For the outbound email, you would:

Create custom contact or company property "First outbound email send date"
Create a contact or company based workflow
1. Enroll record when it's associated to an activity of the type "Email sent to contact"
2. Use the "Set property value" action to set the value of the date property from step 1 to the current date

Follow-up question here. Once this workflow triggers I will then be able to catch the exact timestamp the email that went out? Am I correct?

@Miguvill correct - of course only contacts that enroll after you turn the workflow on. Do not enroll existing contacts who meet the criteria, as they will all get today's date stamped.
