Adding to @RubenBurdin's great advice, I’d also suggest starting simple: get clear on whom you want to educate and what problem you want to help them understand. Turn your big ideas into a few main themes, then break them into small, easy-to-read lessons with short sentences, spacing, and clear takeaways. Storytelling helps people connect, and consistency matters more than perfection. Even one useful post a week can make an impact. Focus on clarity, value, and purpose with every post, and your message will naturally grow stronger over time.

Hi @MLegesse 👋

Thanks for sharing this — wanting to educate and make an impact is a great place to start, and organizing that message is often the hardest part.

I’d love to bring a few Community members into the conversation who have experience with content strategy and social media education.
@SLimaye @Karushna1 @RubenBurdin — hope you’re all having a great week! Do you have any tips or frameworks for organizing ideas and presenting them clearly on social media in a way that’s engaging and educational? Any guidance for someone just getting started would be really valuable here.

Looking forward to the discussion.
Best,
Victor

Hi @MLegesse

First off, the fact that you have things to say and want to educate people is already half the battle. Most people get stuck at "what do I even talk about" so youre ahead there.

The simplest framework Ive seen work is to pick 3 to 4 content pillars, basically big themes or topics you want to be known for. Everything you post should fit into one of those buckets. This helps you stay focused and helps your audience understand what to expect from you. For example if youre in marketing your pillars might be "email strategy", "CRM tips", "analytics basics" and "career advice". Then each post is just one small idea within one of those pillars.

For the actual presentation, dont overthink it at the start. A simple structure that works well is: hook (one sentence that makes people stop scrolling), context (why this matters or a quick story), insight (the actual thing you want to teach), and a soft close (question or takeaway). You dont need fancy graphics or perfect videos to start, text posts with clear thinking often outperform polished content thats empty. Consistency matters more than perfection honestly, posting twice a week for 6 months beats posting every day for 3 weeks then burning out.

One practical tip, batch your content. Sit down once a week and write 3 or 4 posts in one session instead of trying to come up with something every day. Your brain gets into a creative flow and the quality goes up. As you grow and start generating leads or building an audience that you want to track in HubSpot or other systems, thats when thinking about how your data flows between tools becomes important.Right now just focus on finding your voice and being consistent. Hope this helps get you started. Transparency note: This response is grounded in my own experience and was lightly polished using AI.

This is very common. Most people have good thoughts but get stuck at the organizing part. One thing that helps is to write everything down first without thinking about social media. Then pick just one idea from that list and build one post around it. Keep the message small. One post, one point. Use simple language like you would explain it to a friend. Start with a real situation, then share what you learned, and end with one clear takeaway. Over time this gets easier and your content starts to feel more natural and useful.
