We have a portal for our partners using access groups within the "membership" module. I'm trying to pull the full list of contacts that are group members. I don't want just those who have actually registered, I want the full list. This way when I add a new object I can automatically associate the new object to the group members so it shows up in their portal. See attached screenshot.

I was trying to pull a report or list, but couldn't figure out what the correct fields were to filter.

Hey @MNold21! You can view the fields used to create the access group by editing the existing group and clicking through to the second page of the settings. Then you can create an identical list.

Best,

Each access group in the Memberships module is tied to a list. That list is what actually controls who’s in that group. So if you want to see everyone who should have access (not just those who’ve logged in or registered), you’ll need to look at the list assigned to the group.

Here’s what I’d do:

Go to Content > Memberships

Click on the access group you're working with

Check which list it's using to define group membership

Head over to Contacts > Lists, find that list, and open it up

That’s your full group everyone who meets the criteria, even if they haven’t used the portal yet. You can use this list to associate new objects or send targeted content, no need to guess who's in or out.

Unfortunately, HubSpot doesn’t yet have a direct report or filter like “access group member = yes,” but this method gets you the same result.
