I want to auto-populate active lists based on a form that asks customers which news feeds they would like to sign up for. Having trouble figuring out how to create a checklist in a form that I can connect with active lists.

@GVerini you can use a single property set as a checkbox like this:

And then you can create a list for each option like this:

@GVerini For auto-populating active lists based on customer selections from a checklist in a form, do this:

Create a Form with a Checklist: In HubSpot, create a form and include a checklist field where customers can select their preferred news feeds.
Set Up Active Lists: Create active lists in HubSpot for each news feed option.
Use Workflow to Segment: Create a workflow triggered by form submission. Use the checklist responses to segment contacts into the corresponding active lists based on their selections.

This setup allows you to automatically segment customers into different lists based on their interests, directly from their form submissions.

@aviafriat26 with active lists, there's no need to use the workflow to segment the contacts, this can be done directly from the list via corresponding filters.

can I ask which corresponding filters? I have the lists set up. I go to trigger enrollment on form submission and then add a filter, but I'm unsure which filter leads me to a specific action taken on the form (selected the corresponding checkbox)

Form workflows can apparently only add contacts to static lists, so I can't make this work

Hi @GVerini first choose "contact properties"

then choose the custom check box property you're using on the form.

Then set the value to one of the options:

Create a list for each checkbox option.

You don't need a trigger based on the form submission itself as long as the property is only being updated by the form and you want everyone with those choices selected for the list.
