Trigger Workflow off Marketing Email open excluding a Subscription Type

Hi All,

We are building our engagement scoring and want to exclude a subscription type out of the emails that trigger the workflow

we originally had the trigger based off " Marketing Emails Opened" = " known" and contacts could re-enroll everytime this updates

But we need to exclude a subscription type out of this trigger, or alternatively emails with "RITM" in the subject line or name.

Any suggesitons on how to best achieve this?

Hi @JRobertshaw happy to help with updating the workflow to exclude a specific subscription type.

In Triggers, select Email Subscriptions:

Then "contact has not opted into all of":

This will exclude anyone who is opted into the subscription type that you choose.

Hi @Jnix284,

If I understand you correctly, you want to trigger a workflow based on interactions with marketing emails - but only if those marketing emails are not from a specific subscription type? If that's correct, then you your only option is currently to list all emails you want to include by name and filter, for example, using the contact property "Last marketing email name". It's not possible to filter down marketing email enrollment criteria by subscription type.

While you can filter whether a contact has an opt-in, is not opted or opted out, as @Jnix284 explained, that doesn't say anything about the marketing email that is triggering the workflow due to a contact's interaction with it.
