Is there a limit to amount of Super Admins?

Do you know if there is a specific limit to the amount of Super Admins you can add to a HubSpot account? Or would that be the total user amount cut-off point at 2500?

Asking here since I could not find a clear answer in the docs.

Hey @AHaverling ,

You can create a max of 2500 users, all of them could be super admins. However, we strongly recommend you not too have too many super admins on your HubSpot account.

Hi @AHaverling,

I'm not aware of a limit beyond the technical upper limit for users. HubSpot doesn't impose any restrictions on how often certain permission sets are used, which would include the super admin role. Any user could be a super admin.

The technical limit for users in a HubSpot portal is 2,500 per account, which you can find here: https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog (page search for "2,500 users per account")

Generally, it's not advisable to be anywhere near such a potential limit. As a HubSpot admin, anything beyond 5 gives me headaches, anything beyond 10 migraine.

Keep in mind that any super admin could, within seconds, undo years of configuration work and make changes that could cause risk to the company's marketing, sales, services, financial operations, legal compliance and brand. Typically within company there are only a handful of people who understand both the bigger picture and important details of managing a HubSpot instance. Only those should have super admin permissions.
