Monday.com Pros and Cons - My company is looking to switch...

Our marketing team is looking into moving to Monday.com because Hubspot is not HIPAA compliant and the costs.

My understanding is that monday.com is primarily a project management tool. I am not sure why anybody would move to monday.com from Hubspot, because I do not think it has any of the digital marketing features required to run a venture-backed B2B SaaS company.

I was wondering if anybody in this group has experience with Monday.com and what are the pros and cons of this platform relative to Hubspot.

To be honest, I am looking for reasons to avoid the switch. Online Reddit reviews suggest that this is a very bad idea.

I actually stumbled across your reddit post last night, interesting read! 😊 You are right about avoid the switch, and as you correctly pointed out HubSpot is a CRM platform whereas Monday.com is a project management tool.

The two aren't comparable and nor should they be. Switching would be like trying to hammer a nail into a wall with a screwdriver. You'll be using a tool for a job it's not intended for.

Your best bet would be to look at potentially integrating the two systems with one another. Monday built a solution for this which is listed on the HubSpot ecosystem.
