Integrating ChatGPT or Claude into WorkFlows

I already have "HubSpot connector for Claude", and know that I can therefore access HubSpot data while in Claude, but am trying to figure out how to use Claude or ChatGPT in HubSpot workflows/automations. Breeze AI agent has been lackluster for my purposes, and would love to use a more powerful LLM model if possible in my automations, without having to make the leap to a Middleware like Zapier or n8n.

For context:

I've created a workflow that is triggered by a call, where Breeze researches the contact and associated company, and generates a personalized follow-up email using the research. However, I've found that while Breeze is decent at summarizing a contact and generating an email, it utterly fails at researching the company online. This is where I absolutely need a different AI Model, at least currently. Also, our company has been thinking about investing in a Middleware, but we don't currently need its full capabilities, so being able to integrate different Models into workflows would save us from having to do undergo that process (at least for now).

Are there any features that I'm missing? Does this require an Enterprise plan? Are there workarounds that don't require custom code? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks so much for posting in the Community!

I'm reading through our knowledge base article on setting up the HubSpot connector for Claude, and there's a section on expectations around workflows. While it looks like this connector will provide the drafted content for you to implement in HubSpot, it doesn't appear that it will actually set up the workflow on your behalf just yet.

I also found this blog on this connector for further reading!

While it doesn't look like we can achieve this goal currently, I'd recommend posting the need for this ability in our Ideas Forum. It will allow other users to upvote your idea, expand on it, and present the need directly to our Product team.

Thanks Shane! Yeah it looks like as of now I'll have to live with manually prompting Claude/ChatGPT. Thanks for the help! I'll submit an idea to the forum now.

I submitted the idea and found out that this feature already exists! It just only exists for Enterprise Users: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/integrations/create-and-use-custom-llm-workflow-actions

Hopefully this will become more available for other subscriptions, but for now it's limited.

Hopefully this will be rolled out for other plans in the future, but for now it's limited.
