Hi! I have a test developer account that will run out of free trial time soon. Someone had mentioned that we could get these extended if it would be helpful to learning more.

Does anyone know if this is true and, if it is, who do you ask about extending it?

Thank you!

Hi @DChimenti20 and Happy Tuesday!

This is a great question, thanks for asking the HubSpot Community!

I checked for you and I can see on this documentation "HubSpot account types" that you can create up to 10 test accounts to test apps and integrations.

Developer test accounts are free HubSpot accounts with access to a 90-day trial of many enterprise features.

Developer test accounts will expire after 90 days if no API calls are made to the account.

You can either manually renew the account from the Test accounts page in HubSpot, or by making an API call to the account.

When renewing via API call, you must use an OAuth token generated from an application in the same developer account as the test account you want to renew.

Also, renewals must be done no more than 30 days before the test account's expiration date.

I hope this helps!

Have a lovely day @DChimenti20 and I look forward to seeing you around the Community!
Bérangère

Thank you for the insight! I'm curious what parameters they use to gauge whether you have completed a proper API call to keep the account alive since switching to the private key system for custom apps.

I've noticed limitations in integrating into the developer test account from the marketplace, as simple as the integrations are, so I'm unsure you can facilitate it that way and since they switched from refresh tokens to private keys, I'm usure you'd meet the criteria that way either.

I'll leverage an API through Postman and hope it meets the criteria. Thanks for you input and help! If you know what they specifically want us to do, I'd appreciate any input.

But this is only my understanding, I might be wrong 😀

I'll try and see if I can get more precise details about this but I don't promise anything!

Have a great day!
Bérangère
