Trying to login on local development with my developer account

Hello! I'm trying to login on local development with my developer account to make ui extensions for a public application. To upload it asks for a developer account.
I put on local: hs account auth, it redirects me to
https://app-eu1.hubspot.com/personal-access-key/146520035 https://app-eu1.hubspot.com/personal-access-key/146520035
But here I only see :
Use Projects to build apps with interactive UI extensions
Beta
Join the UI extensions developer beta and start building apps using Projects.
I click on Join beta, but I don't get any public key, if I go to keys-> personal access keys, it takes me to the same page with join beta. What can I do?

If you're trying to run hs auth and only see the Join beta banner and no personal access key, it usually means the project beta isn’t fully activated for your portal yet, even if it says you're in.

What worked for me: I had to create a new project using hs project create, then run hs auth again from within that project folder. For some reason, the key prompt didn’t show up until I was inside a valid project structure. And yeah, make sure you're logged in with the same developer account that owns the app otherwise, it won’t link properly.

If you still don’t see the key after that, try going to developers.hubspot -> Manage Apps and check if your dev account is tied to the app you’re testing. Sometimes switching to a different dev portal solves it.
