Intermittent ETIMEDOUT to api.hubapi.com — Broken IP 104.18.242.108

Hi HubSpot team,

We're experiencing intermittent but repeatable timeouts when making requests to the HubSpot API at https://api.hubapi.com.

The root cause appears to be one specific IP address — 104.18.242.108 — which frequently times out from our production environment (an AWS EC2 instance in eu-west-3, Paris).

Error message:

connect ETIMEDOUT 104.18.242.108:443

We tested other IPs resolved by api.hubapi.com, and this is the only one consistently failing (20% of the time?). Other IPs (e.g. 104.18.240.108, 104.18.243.108) work fine.

The issue started on June 2nd around 08:30 UTC, and continues as of now.

Can you investigate or help escalate this on your end?

Thanks for the quick answer.

I have a retry mechanism for 429 errors, not for timeouts. I can add one, but I still think that hundreds of timeouts appearing overnight is not normal, isn't it?

For the support, I don't have access to live support, unfortunately, with a developer account.
