WhatsApp reporting through API

Hi guys!

We are trying to built a report of WhatsApp metrics, similar to the one as we have for mailing: WhatsApp Message Sent (yes/no), WhatsApp Message Delivered (yes/no), WhatsApp Message Opened, WhatsApp Message Clicked. Our final aim is to have a list of all the contacts with all the whatsapp messages each of them has received and the indicators I previously mentioned.

We haven't find these properties in the Reports section, so we were trying to get this information through an API. We managed to get the information of the "Conversations" (understanding that a conversation is a WhatsApp message we sent and was replied by a contact), but not of the WhatsApp message sents.

Has anyone succeed at doing this?

Hi,

I don't know if Hubspot's native WhatsApp features can provide this level of precision for tracking messages opened, received, etc.

If you want to do this with an app, however, it's entirely possible.

You create an application (MyWhatsAppApplication) that will manage your WhatsApp messages sent via the WhatsApp Business API. In this application, you create event templates related to your app (WhatsApp Message Sent, WhatsApp Message Delivered, WhatsApp Message Opened, WhatsApp Message Clicked, etc.) with the tokens you want (date, text, etc.).

On the app side, you take care of retrieving all the metrics you want via the WhatsApp Business API and associate them with your messages and contacts in Hubspot using the Hubspot API (https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/reference/api/crm/engagements/communications).

So, in your lists, workflows, and reports, you'll have access to MyWhatsAppApplication > MyTemplate* > MyToken**
