Help me Start Integrate tools to my HubSpot Account

I want to ask about the integration process and when it is required to use API, I have a lot of questions about how to grab the first thing to learn to do efficient integration and data mapping between two different systems. Moreover, I found that most of tools the integration steps start from the other system, not from HubSpot. So I have to understand the other tool very well to do the integration or what?

If any one can help me or mentor me through out my learning process I will be glad.

The best place to start is right where you are in this community. I suggest you create a developer account within your existing HubSpot to test and play around with so that you don't cause issues on your main account if something goes wrong. API's is something that HubSpot has many details about and if you want to learn then the best place to start is here: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/reference/api/overview

It's not always that HubSpot is pulling from the other app often times too you can have a set up where the 3rd party app is pulling from HubSpot so the best thing is the learn how your API is working

Create a sandbox account, create a pvt app, and provide the scopes to it, it will generate an access taken. now use the endpoint to perform the CURD operation. here is the link to the API documentation
