Custom workflow action: "Didn't execute"

Hello!

In building a custom workflow action, I keep getting the error: "Didn't execute" and "The response body for this request was empty."

For the actionUrl, I’ve tried using my own URL, as well as a webhook.site and the error remains the same. Testing both in Postman seems to work as expected.

What might I be missing?

Hi,

Could you check if your endpoint properly validates incoming requests from HubSpot (using the v2 version of X-HubSpot-Signature) and correctly formats outgoing responses

Looking at the server logs, there are no incoming requests. This is true for my endpoint as well as for webhook.site (where I would have expected to see requests at least).

The outgoing response is formatted as:

I'm facing this same issue, the definition execution fails and there is not incoming request coming to my server, neither to webhook.site, and the logs show empty body, any help?

The issue for me was:

If one of the fields in the workflow action used a property from the triggered record, and there wasn't a value for that field for a given record, it wouldn't execute the request because it was empty.

That was exactly the issue for me. What I did: Set all the fields as not required, and let the backend of the webhook validate all. Thank you for your answer!
