Using Microsoft 365 Dynamics Integration to push Invoices from HubSpot to Dynamics

Hi there,

Currently, the "Microsoft Dynamics 365" marketplace app only allows you to push the Invoice object from Dynamics to HubSpot. Custom field mapping is possible. However, even with custom field mappings, synchronisation remains unidirectional, from Dynamics to HubSpot.

We use HubSpot to create and send invoices and Dynamics 365 for accounting. Therefore, invoices need to be transferred from HubSpot to Dynamics and not the other way around.

Is it possible to submit a feature request for this application or are there alternative options that I may not be aware of? Direct integration with Microsoft DataVerse would also be great.

On the Microsoft Dynamics 365 documentation, I can see that indeed, for invoices the sync is only one way: from Microsoft to HubSpot.

But that's a great idea to be able to have a sync both ways.

For new feature suggestions, I'd recommend first to search and check if this idea is already present on our Ideas Forum here. If you find a similar idea, give it an upvote and share your unique use case in the comments.

If the idea doesn't exist already, please consider posting and creating a new Idea on our Ideas Forum here.

Hi there, you’re right. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 app only syncs invoices from Dynamics to HubSpot. It doesn’t go the other way. If you want invoices to move from HubSpot to Dynamics 365, that feature isn’t available at the moment. But you do have a few options.

First, you can suggest this feature to both HubSpot and Microsoft. They have support pages and community forums where you can share your ideas. For HubSpot, you can submit your request through their support or community page. For Microsoft, check out their support channels or the Dynamics 365 community forums.

If you're looking for more flexibility, there are some additional solutions that can help. They let you create custom workflows between HubSpot and Dynamics 365. You could set it up to sync invoices from HubSpot to Dynamics.

Another option is using the HubSpot API and Microsoft Dynamics 365 API to build your own integration. This way, you can set up the flow of invoice data the way you need.

Lastly, Microsoft Dataverse can connect different Microsoft apps, including Dynamics 365. To wrap it up, the current app doesn’t support syncing invoices from HubSpot to Dynamics 365. However, you can explore custom options with apps, APIs, or third-party tools.
