Authorization Failed because the install URL does not match the specified scopes.

Hello all

I am getting the below error

This is when trying to authorize my new app in a 3rd party dialer for real time updates - i.e. when a contact is created with a certain status it pushes into the dialer.

The install URL is here https://app.hubspot.com/oauth/authorize?client_id=99475399-12a5-471e-aa34-166e3876307d&redirect_uri=https://claim247-cxm.uk.connexone.cloud/integrations/hubspot-app/authorize-workspaces&scope=crm.objects.contacts.write%20oauth%20crm.objects.companies.write%20crm.objects.companies.read%20crm.objects.deals.read%20crm.objects.deals.write%20crm.objects.contacts.read

The scopes I've configured as "required" are here

The scopes are all listed within the URL, and client_id is right and the domain is right but still get the error..

As part of the install on the dialer, I have to create an App in the clients Hubspot environment first, and then authorise that with an access token. As part of the real time updates, I have to then make an app in my developer account. I have to provide domain, client id, secret, app id and app api key for the app I create in the developer account. When I provide this, and click authorise, I get this error.

Any ideas why?

Hi @cosgrovep

Your scopes look correct in the URL.

When I enter the Redirect URL (from the full URL you posted) I get the response: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

That may be the issue?

Regardless I would double check your Redirect URL on the Auth Tab in your App.

When I browse to this (https://claim247-cxm.uk.connexone.cloud/integrations/hubspot-app/authorize-workspaces) I get a page which generates a token (as I expect it would) which I then enter in a field on the dialer. Then when I click authorise do I get my mismatch error.

You may have got a 403 error as the FQDN for this client dialer is locked down to specific static IP's
