Hi all,

Sorry if this kind of question has already been answered, but I have just not been able to summarize this enough to search for it effectively😅

For context: I'm working on a calling app following the calling extensions SDK

The issue I'm facing is how I'm supposed to call API's from, for instance, a contact page where this app can be opened.
From what I understand, the initial access token can only be generated using the code produced after installing. That means that once acquired, it must be carefully stored somewhere, alongside the refresh token. HubSpot forces you to use your own server to make API calls to them, so it comes natural that access tokens would be stored there.

Now, if I want to, say, request a contact via API call, I'd need an access token, or ask my server to give me a token or call the API itself for me. However, the app has no way of identifying which user is using it, as I couldn't find a HubSpot user Id or similar. The server also has no way of knowing which user is paired with which generated access token, as the instalation seems to have no way of passing this information.

There are already so many HubSpot apps out there, so I'm sure I'm simply missing something here, could anyone help me out?
