Syncing Website CTA clicks to Mixpanel

Hi,

We recently launched our HubSpot-hosted website and are using Mixpanel to track performance. I’m looking for a way to sync website CTA clicks with Mixpanel. After checking the out-of-the-box integration, it doesn’t seem to support this directly.

Does anyone have a workaround or solution to track CTA clicks from our HubSpot site into Mixpanel?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, @DJohnson4 👋 It's a challenge to find much info on if this is possible or not and if it can be accomplished with a custom integration. Before we go too far down the rabbit hole, have you already ruled out tools like Zapier, Make, or n8n? If so, we can try tagging in a few of our community members into the converstaion to see if they can share their expertise with custom solutions like this.

Hey @Jaycee_Lewis, thanks for the response.

We haven't ruled anything out yet, but we would rather not use Zapier or any other system that charge per call/event.

One of the potential workarounds I've come across is using GTM to track the click event and then push into Mixpanel. From the limited resources i've found, I think I can tag the CTA in GTM via the CTA id. We're testing this method at the moment, so I'll update this thread if it works.
