Hey @Marvin_Morgan24,

The short answer is in the absence of a native integration the two systems can absolutely be integrated. It's just a matter of what approach you decide to take. I've broken down a few options below:

iPaaS: Leveraging a low code/no code solution you can very quickly bridge the gap between these systems. There are a couple of options to consider. Each would have their own costs associated to them of course, the three I am most familiar with are Pipedream, Zapier and Make. Both solid options. Important things to consider:

The cost - All have a free option to explore what is best for you. The Make Pro plan comes in at about $19 p/m vs the Zapier plan at $29 p/m. With Pipedream you are lookin at about $75 p/m so a little bit more expensive.

The actions/triggers avaiable for both connectors - If you need more flexibility i.e want to do things that aren't built into the connector Make supports making your own HTTP requests using the HTTP module. Zapier also have one but it appears to be in beta. Pipedream also support HTTP requests as outlined here.

Custom: This approach would be my last resort in full transparency. It would invovle building your own bespoke integration from the ground up using a combination of HubSpot APIs and Recruitee APIs. This would come at the cost of time, money and resources. You'd also need to look into hosting your integration on a cloud platform like AWS or Moving forward you would also need to update and maintain the integration (if endpoints are deprecated or new ones are released etc...).

Also, another important thing to keep in mind is what you want the integration to do. I like to use a framework I've coined "DFDF". It stands for "Data", "Frequency", "Direction" and "Functionality". I put this together when presenting on Integrations 101 whilst employed at HubSpot. The full presentation can be found here. It can help to put a bit of shape to things and identify the best approach moving forward!

One final thing I would say is that HubSpot has Operations Hub which does offer custom coded automation, providing you the ability to write your own bespoke code within workflows. Without knowing the full extent of your requirements it is hard to say if it would help but an option to consider nonetheless. It would work particularly well if you wanted to do things in Recruitee of the back of events happening in HubSpot. However, it it was the other way around you might run into problems.

TLDR: There are several options to consider. I'd start by looking into an iPaaS and honestly would be surprised if it didn't satisfy the integration requirements. 😊

I hope this helps!

Hi everyone,

We recently had a request from a client about whether the HR and Recruiting tool Recruitee could be integrated with HubSpot. I noticed that there isn't an official integration so wanted to know if anyone had integrated Recruitee with HubSpot before and how they went about it. I'd imagine you'd need to use webhooks and the API or a tool such as make.com/Zapier, however I'd love the community to give its two cents on the issue.

Looking forward to hearing from you and hope you have a great weekend!

Best wishes,

Stephen Buckley
