Woocommerce HPOS

Anytime soon there will be a big update from woocommerce including a new high performance storage feature. This is called HPOS (https://woocommerce.com/document/high-performance-order-storage) , many plugins are already compatible with HPOS but our development provider told us that the MWB hubspot plugin is one of our plugins which is not ready yet. So we cant continue with this important Woocommerce update/feature.
Is there any information if the plugin will be updated anytimesoon the plugin so that it can perform with Woocommerce HPOS ? Woocommerce wants to make HPOS the standard anytime soon.

Hey, @ONDAFC 👋 Thanks for your question! Tools like the one you listed are created and supported by third-parties. In this case, this integration is maintained by MakeWebBetter. You may have more success and get a faster response by contacting their support directly — MWB Support.

We are working on the compatibility with HPOS, soon we will release an update that will be compatible with it and you can use this feature.

can we expect this update any time soon? Let's say, will it be available in 2023? Right now it's the only plugin holding us back from moving to the HPOS.

Hey Himanshu,

we are still waiting for this update since August. There are some other plugins we currently can't update because they depend on HPOS, but we are unable to switch because of MWBs incompatibility.
As we are running into some security issues without those updates, the only way out will be to cancel our Hubspot subscription and switch to another CRM within the next weeks. Not our preferred solution...

Votre message date de bientôt un an mais il me semble n'avoir rien lu comme nouvelles.

Le HPOS est désormais la norme,activé par défaut sur les nouveaux sites Woocommerce.

Avez-vous une date pour la mise à jour afin que HubSpot soit compatible ?

Are there any updates on this? What are the current implications of the plugin not being compatible with HPOS? Should we keep WooCommerce in compatibility mode to avoid any bad behaviour or malfunction of the plugin?

Yes, we have officially launched our WooCommerce HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) compatibility! You can purchase it directly here.

I must express my disappointment with this approach.

According to Woo documentation,

From WooCommerce 8.2, released in October 2023, High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) is officially stable and enabled by default for new installations.

It's surprising that MWB has decided to release an add-on for HPOS compatibility at an additional cost of $200/year, rather than incorporating it into their standard plugin.

This feature should be a part of the default offering, especially considering the growing importance of WooCommerce within the ecommerce ecosystem. Currently, WooCommerce powers around 40% of all online stores, and it plays a major role in enabling businesses worldwide.

Forcing users to pay extra for a fundamental update like HPOS compatibility undermines the trust of the community and creates unnecessary friction.

@Jaycee_Lewis : This issue doesn't just impact MWB users but also HubSpot, given that MWB is the primary integration partner for many ecommerce businesses using HubSpot.

We kindly encourage HubSpot to work with MWB to ensure that HPOS compatibility becomes part of the core offering, providing your users with the optimal experience expected from modern e-commerce platforms.
