Source Properties on Call Objects API explained

Hello all,
I'm trying to understand the differences between some call properties: hs_object_source, hs_object_source_label,

hs_engagement_source, and

hs_call_source.

In addition, I'm trying to understand what the different value options are for each one.

For example for hs_object_source_label I see COMMUNICATOR,

INTERNAL_PROCESSING, and

INTEGRATION. What do those values mean?

The hs_object_source_label provides a human-readable label for this source, making it easier to understand.

The hs_engagement_source property, on the other hand, specifies the specific interaction that triggered the call, like a web form submission, meeting, or email interaction.

Ultimately, the hs_call_source property, which may be deprecated in newer API versions, potentially captured the source of the call itself, such as a phone number dialed or an inbound call from a website.

In summary, these properties help distinguish between the initial contact source, the interaction leading to the call, and the call's origin, providing valuable context for calls in HubSpot.
