Eventbrite & HubSpot webhook setup

I'm not a developer, but I need to get data about Eventbrite registrants into our HubSpot account. A recent update to the Eventbrite checkout process when purchasing tickets has prevented us from using Zapier to do this, so I thought I could get it via webhooks.

Is it possible to use a HubSpot workflow to get data from Eventbrite and associate it with HubSpot Contact records?

We have Ops Hub Pro.

Hey, @ABabb2 👋 Thanks for your question. I think this will fall under “it depends”.

You can definitely set up a GET request using Webhooks in Workflows to query an external system. Have you identified the endpoint on the Eventbrite side that will provide you with the needed details?

Maybe. I'm a little out of my depth, technically speaking. So I may have done it wrong.

I created a webhook in Eventbrite and pasted that URL into the HubSpot workflow. For the authentication piece, I created an API key in Eventbrite and pasted that secret into HubSpot. Screenshot attached.

But when I test it, I get a 405 error.

When I test the webhook in Eventbrite, it appears to be working. Did I do it backwards?
