Email logged to hubspot are not identified in the report

I use the POST Email API to log email sent from our platform in Hubspot. The emails are logged properly and I can see all the events tracked inside the contact / company page.

The problem is that when I try to create a report and set as filter "Activity Type" / "Email sent to contact" Hubspot doesn't count the email logged from my platform although they appear in the contact activity.

If I introduce when sending the email the Hubspot BCC address the report filter works, but then I'll see 2 emails logged (one from my platform via API, and the second one from Hubspot BCC).

Do I have to add some specific attribute when creating the Email in Hubspot via the API? Is this a Hubspot bug? Is there any other way to make the report work without logging the email twice?
