Hi Jaycee, I have seen the page you link to numerous times but it explicitly states "Use webhooks in workflows to send or retrieve information between HubSpot and other external tools" whereas I'm trying to use a webhook to retrieve data from the same instance of HubSpot running the flow, ie. internally. I've set up a private app (the page you provided said API Keys were deprecated in 2022) but I'm struggling to work out how I actually connect to the API for the instance.

This is probably going to the one of the most noob questions possible.

I have a workflow. In that workflow I need to issue a POST request to an API to retrieve some information. The API authenticates via OAuth. The Webhook authentication config give me choices of "None", "Include request signature in header", or "API key". I have the Key and the Secret for the service.

I am at a loss as to what I do from here and the documentation (that I have been able to find) is unclear. Can anyone explain / point me to a document explaining how to configure a Webhook from scratch having only the credentials and the URL for the request? I feel like the complete lack of responses from a web search means I must be missing something so simple no one has bothered to post about it.

Hey, @Canadero 👋 Welcome to our community! I hope you got this resolved. If not, can you confirm that you are using the option — Use webhooks with HubSpot workflows? I want to make sure I am looking at the same documents you are.

Best,
