To bridge the gap between HubSpot CRM and KNIME Analytics Platform, advocating for a dedicated HubSpot JDBC driver emerges as a pivotal solution. This driver would streamline data extraction, transformation, and loading processes by enabling direct connectivity within KNIME workflows. Simultaneously, fostering collaboration within the KNIME community to develop a HubSpot connector or extension could expedite integration efforts, offering users a comprehensive solution beyond JDBC. Maintaining an active feedback loop with both KNIME and HubSpot development teams ensures user needs are prioritized, potentially influencing future roadmap decisions. In the interim, exploring alternative solutions like custom scripts or third-party tools can facilitate data extraction until native integrations become available. This proactive approach aims to empower users with seamless access to HubSpot data within KNIME, catalyzing data engineering and data science endeavors for enhanced business insights.

Hi all,

I want to raise a need to connect the HubSpot CRM database directly with the KNIME Analytics Platform (no-code) for data engineering (ETL/ELT) and data science purposes (ML).

KNIME is a direct competitor to Alteryx, which is more well-known.

The KNIME platform can handle the HubSpot REST API, but not all entities and properties can be retrieved as demanded.

A solid, quick win would be to have a HubSpot JDBC driver, which can be used with the KNIME DB Connector node.

Further integrations like a HubSpot connector for KNIME would be awesome.

Thanks for your consideration.

BR,

@eberlem Looking at the screenshot from the KNIME website, it appears that KNIME already has extensions that will allow you to connect to various databases. If you are willing to use a paid app, we offer an app in the HubSpot App Marketplace called MS SQL Server for HubSpot . The app pulls your HubSpot data into a SQL data warehouse via prebuilt API connectors. A SQL data warehouse in Azure is included in the cost.

Once your HubSpot data is in the data warehouse, it automatically refreshes on a scheduled basis. You can connect the SQL data warehouse to any other application that has a SQL connector - so this should work with KNIME.

Hi @eberlem , totally agree this gap is still real even in 2025. KNIME can technically hit HubSpot’s REST APIs, but pagination, rate limits, and property scoping make it clunky for analytics use.

There’s still no official JDBC driver from HubSpot, though you can expose CRM objects to KNIME more cleanly by staging them first in a SQL layer using the CRM v3 endpoints and the new bulk export API

(https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api-reference/crm-contacts-v3/guide ) (https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api-reference/crm-exports-v3/guide ). That gives you a table-like output with full property control and delta timestamps for incremental syncs.

If KNIME is your analytics base, a practical bridge is to automate a nightly or hourly export from HubSpot to your SQL instance, KNIME then connects natively, avoiding HubSpot’s API limits during analysis. If consistent two-way sync between HubSpot and KNIME’s warehouse becomes key, Stacksync keeps both ends aligned in near real time so you can engineer data in KNIME without desyncing CRM records.
