Hello. I've been reading documentation in order to integrate Twilio Flex and Hubspot.

I first tried to embed Hubspot on Twilio Flex. But since twilio flex inserts the CRM through an Iframe. Some of the functionality is lost on Twilio flex interface (cant make calls with the activity button as it is blocked because of the iframed implementation and adding a custom card is also restricted as the iframe is blocked also.

Then I'm trying to create my custom provider with the calling extension sdk, but I'm unable to communicate Twilio flex in order to execute the call or passing messages between the iframe and hubspot.

What I need to make calls to contact records using Twilio Flex but if possible launch the call through the contact record page.

Is it possible currently or is there any other approach that I'm missing?.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you using this guide — Integrating Twilio Flex and HubSpot CRM, and repo — hubspot_twilio?

Other community members have reported challenges because of limitations that come with embedding external applications into iframes due to security reasons, such as the “same-origin” policy.

With this being a 3rd party solution, you will want to reach out to their support or community to confirm the tool will do what you are wanting. As with all 3rd party apps and integrations, while HubSpot provides the API endpoints and other developer resources, support for these apps is up to the creator.

Indeed, thats one of the resource I first read as there is no much information.

The problem is that the restriction comes from the Hubspot security policy. I guess theres is no much option unless this restrictions are lifted in order to allow Hubspot to be embeded into an iframe.
