Add properties to Create contact form using App integration

Hello,

I am trying to add new custom properties in create contact form on CRM UI so when the application is installed on user's account it will add new contact properties in create contact form.
I wanted to add fields like work phone, work address, etc while creating contact.

I have checked creating custom objects https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/create-custom-objects will this work?

Hi, @ParvG 👋 Thanks for your question. If your objective is to create new properties on the Contact object, then creating a custom object is not going to solve your issue. Properties created for a custom object will have their values stored on the custom object record and not on a contact record.

Hi, @Jaycee_Lewis thanks for the quick reply.

To save information like work phone, work email, and other things that aren't contacts' usual properties, I wanted to add new fields or properties to the create contact form.

It is possible to add these attributes, but only for one user at a time, by making new properties and specifying their kinds on the user interface.

I want to add these attributes to the user account when my application is installed, so that if necessary, they can add them straight to their contact form.

Could you recommend another method I could use to accomplish this either using APIs or through Admin settings so i can enforce this to all users?
