How to create custom lead properties via API

Hi!

I'm trying to create custom lead properties through the API. While HubSpot support has indicated that this is possible, I have not been able to find any documentation specifying the steps involved or the relevant API endpoint.

Has anyone successfully created custom lead properties via the API and can point me in the right direction? Any insights or resources would be greatly appreciated 🙂

I want to inquire about the lead object. Is the lead object a custom object?

If it is, I would be happy to provide you with the curl command for creating custom properties for that object.

It is not a custom object, I want to create additional properties for the new lead object itself!

I wanted to bring to your attention that currently, there are no available APIs for "Leads Object" in HubSpot
