Get Duplicate Contacts via the API

In the UI, you can view potential duplicate contacts via the 'Manage Duplicate Records' page:
https://app.hubspot.com/duplicates/ACCOUNT_ID/contacts

Is this list of contacts accessible via the API? We'd like to programatically merge contacts, and this seems like it would be a good starting point.

Hey, @SHorvat 👋 There is not an API-based version of the in-app potential duplicates list. Our community champion @coldrickjack offered one potential workaround in their reply here — Is there an API endpoint to add potential duplicates to Manage Duplicates section?

Hi Jaycee,

I was wondering if there is any documentation for using the endpoint "(/crm/v3/objects/contacts/merge)" within the Contacts API? It was referenced by @coldrickjack but I have not been able to find anything.

Hi @Drew_Kulas, documentation for that endpoint can be found here. It takes two parameters, the ID of the contact you wish to merge and the ID of the contact you wish to keep after the merge.
