Auto link line items to products by SKU?

We're updating our order header (deals) and order detail (line items) to HS just fine (from HighTouch). However, when we send the order detail from our warehouse we're only using the SKU. We've uploaded our SKU data to HS (products) just fine... Is there not a way to show the additional information about the SKU in the deals display pulling that data from the products reference?

Seems a bit strange to have to denormalize the data with repetitive information already "known" to HS.

Before I add this extraneous data to the data warehouse views, I wanted to make sure there was no way to link to the product catalog.

is it possible for you to share a screenshot, or better still, a screen recording of the process? I want to make sure I'm understanding correctly as to where you're expecting to see the further detail.

Not sure how to add a screenshot, but it's really not necessary. When you look a a deal, you see line items to the right column. Click EDIT on that and it shows more detail like Item Name, etc... in a perfect setup this data should be pulled from the existing Products data we have on HS already, linked by SKU field.
