Cody,

You could also use a middleware application like Hightouch that uses SQL as a source and HubSpot as a destination. If you can constrain the sync requirements the monthly cost is competitive and the infrastructure is already there so overall costs would be lower than doing it custom.

For what it's worth, Datawarehouse.io offers a HubSpot-SQL connector that is one way from HubSpot to SQL in case that also has utility for you: https://ecosystem.hubspot.com/marketplace/apps/marketing/data-management/mssql-replicator

How to use the MySQL Integration in HubSpot Without Zapier or Automate.io?

My team and I are working on trying to figure out how we can integrate a MySQL database into our Enterprise HubSpot account.

Hi there!

New here to the HubSpot developer forum. My team and I are working on trying to figure out how we can integrate a MySQL database into our Enterprise HubSpot account. I was recommended by HubSpot support to use Zapier or Automate, but we would rather not have to deal with the charges, as we think the API call could rack up pretty quickly there. This would be a one-directional flow, MySQL to HubSpot.

Does anyone have any recommendations on another way to do this? Thanks!

Moderator Note: this post was reviewed for relevancy and optimized for clarity on 3/30. Thank you for your contributions to the HubSpot Community!

Hi @kvlschaefer ,

If this was my assignment, I would personally create a NodeJS application where I would use Apollo GraphQL together with Prisma to retrieve the data from MySQL. I would then use the HubSpot API to store the information.

But this is quite a big approach.

Hi @Teun!

Thank you for this suggestion. Creating a NodeJS application was where my mind was going as well, but I have never used GraphQL or Prisma. Wonder if I could simplify that based on what all needs the client wants. This does seem like a good stack to create this project with though. I will have to talk to my lead and see if this is something we can entertain.

Would be a great challenge for me as I am mostly a front-end developer.

Thanks again!

Welcome to the HubSpot developer community! @dev_cody

To integrate a MySQL database with your HubSpot account, you can use various middleware platforms. You need a batch data integration solution like Skyvia, which offers a no-code interface for easy data integration and synchronization between MySQL and HubSpot.

It supports various integration scenarios, be it one-time data import or ongoing sync. This service works on a schedule and will help save API calls.
