Add an association label to a custom object that has an existing assocation label

I have two association labels: 'Contact Billing Admin' and 'Company Subscriber'.

I have a custom object instance in HubSpot that has the association label 'Contact Billing Admin' already attached. I would like to add the 'Company Subscriber' association label to the object.

Is there a way to add 'Company Subscriber' without sending 'Contact Billing Admin'?

I've been using the v4 put request, but am hoping something else exists that adds new association labels instead of replacing what's there.
