How to integrate HubSpot with Power Bi

I am trying to integrate my data from HubSpot to Power Bi via an external integrator named dataddo.

However, I am facing issues with the application when parsing. For instance, in my deals, I have a custom column named requested services. The values in this are all our product offerings, namely "regalerts", "askregask", "guidebooks", and "reginsights". But when I parse this column via dataddo, I only get "consulting services" with this column. Is there a way to solve this? If it's an issue with dataddo, is there some other data integration tool I can try?

What type of property is "Requested Services"? Is it set to "multiple checkbox". I very quickly ran a test with my account and Dataddo and I'm successfully retrieving data.

Yes. The field is set to "multiple checkbox".

Another thing, there are a number of empty fields as well in the Requested Service column even though this is definetely not the case on Hubspot

I'm not seeing the same (as shown above). Granted I am operating with a much smaller data set. I'm also not seeing any issues extracting the information via API in raw (JSON) format. It's all working as expected on my end. Some other things that might help:

If you setup a filter in HubSpot to view deals where "Request Service" is "Unknown" do you get any results back?
If you setup a filter in HubSpot to view deals where "Request Service" is only "Consulting Services" do you get results back?

Could it be that there are simply deals without values and some with a single value of "Consulting Services" and this is what is being rendered within Dataddo? I'm not sure but perhaps the preview data doesn't show all of the records.

Another thing - what happens if you were to try with a different "multiple checkbox" property - do you see the same? Have you contacted Dataddo in relation to this?

Hello @coldrickjack ,
Upon closer inspoection I have found that there are two custom properties names "Requested Service" on hubspot as can be seen below.

What's weird is that I only find one such property when I search for it in the edit properties tab. Moreover, I still get consulting services but that is because the property's internal value for Regask is consulting

@MMouty The HubSpot APIs have their quirks and sometimes require some degree of data transformation when connecting to another platform. If you haven't yet resolved your problem integrating HubSpot with Power BI, you might consider trying the Power BI Integration for HubSpot, which is available in the HubSpot App Marketplace. By using the connector, you will be able to create an automated data refresh schedule so that each time you open Power BI, the most recent HubSpot data is used to update your report. This HubSpot Certified app has 1000+ installs, a 4.8/5 rating, and comes with is a free trial. (Disclosure: My firm developed this app. We've spent hundred of hours optimizing the integration specifically for the HubSpot data model -- so you don't have to.)

It sounds like there might be an issue with how Dataddo is interpreting the data from HubSpot. You should first reach out to Dataddo's support team to see if they can assist in resolving this parsing issue. If Dataddo is unable to resolve the problem, you could consider trying other data integration tools such as Zapier, Tray.io, or Stitch Data. Each of these platforms offers integration capabilities and may provide better compatibility with your HubSpot data.

I know I'm late to this, but want to add my two-penneth.

I find Tugger: https://tuggerapp.com/ great for third party integration in HubSpot (although that isn't the only connector they have).

Not only to the integrate into HubSpot and provide an OData link, they also offer report templates to use with Power BI.

... And then give you a 30 day free trial to see if it suits.

You could try Skyvia. You just need to set up automatic syncing of data with your DB and then connect it to Power BI. As for me, it is more reliable.
