AutoHotKey Outlook COM object question

Hi,

I use Microsoft COM objects to send emails via Outlook to prospects. My understanding is that if an email is sent through Outlook and the HubSpot plugin is turned on, that it'll pick up that email and log it in the HubSpot database. Seems like this isn't happening when using AutoHotKey to send an email via Outlook COM object. Any clue why?

Hi, @GMayer 👋 I do not have an answer for you. Nor could I find anything documented in the HubSpot documentation. I have a guess, though.

I wonder if AHK is bypassing the user interface of Outlook and interfacing directly with Outlook's programming. And the HubSpot plugin cannot detect these actions as they are happening programmatically and not at a human-level of interaction, like detecting a user-initiated email send.
