      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't seem to find how to create a private app, and im a super user&lt;BR /&gt;I don't see the option on the left hand side under account setup.&lt;BR /&gt;I got a developer account - as it states this at the top -&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;This is an app developer account.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You are not missing an option. HubSpot has three account types, but not all of them can create Private Apps.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/account-types#app-developer-accounts" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;App developer accounts&lt;/A&gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;cannot&lt;/STRONG&gt; create Private Apps. The&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;can&lt;/EM&gt; create public apps along with setting up OAuth for authorization. (what you are describing based on the banner's message you shared)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/account-types#developer-test-accounts" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Developer test accounts&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;can&lt;/EM&gt; &lt;A href="https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/private-apps#create-a-private-app" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;create Private Apps.&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Here's one approach:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;From your App developer account, click the Testing Tab &amp;gt; Create app test account button&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="CleanShot 2023-01-26 at 13.37.33.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.hubspot.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/84038iE934E4A6B8430EB7/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="CleanShot 2023-01-26 at 13.37.33.png" alt="CleanShot 2023-01-26 at 13.37.33.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;This will create a Developer test account&lt;/LI&gt;
