Timeline Events or Company Property

Our business collects feedback from Customers in our Web Application.

We log this data into a database, with a stucture that includes:

Timestamp
Company ID: HubSpot Company ID
Comment 1: Long Text Field
Comment 2: Long Text Field
Comment 3: Long Text Field
Satisfaction Score: Number
Customer Role: Short Text

Customers can submit feedback multiple times.

We want to push this information into HubSpot via either the Timeline events API or Company API. And we want to be able to pull this information out using Reporting.

We want to be able to notify the "Owner" of the Company Record that this information has been added.

What I can't find in the developer documents is:

a.) Whether Timeline Events from Private Apps can be used to trigger notifications or workflows to notify the "Owner" of the Company.

b.) If there's field type that supports a structured list, e.g.

Event 3: { datetime, role, score, comment 1, comment 2, comment 3 },

I'm comfortable that we can use workflows to notify Company owners of field updates, however I can only see very basic field types in HubSpot Properties.

At present, I feel the Timeline event is the "right" solution, however I don't know if events from Private Apps can trigger notifications or be used to trigger Workflows (which would then perform notifications).

Anyone able to advise?

It is possible for Timeline Events from Private Apps to trigger notifications or workflows in HubSpot. You can create a custom event type in HubSpot and use the Timeline Events API to create events for that type from your web application. Then, you can set up workflows in HubSpot to trigger based on those events and send notifications to the owner of the company record

No, I do not think that there is any field type supported by HubSpot which supports a structured list like yours.
